During this session, Intermediate RLA teachers will develop a clear vision for successfully leveraging CommonLit 360's digital resources through exploring the design, guiding principles, and core lesson types and accompanying resources. Participants will also build their skill set for delivering a CommonLit 360 reading lesson effectively, with a focus on key components and pacing. The session will highlight how the PISD RLA Intermediate Curriculum integrates CommonLit resources and how to use the platform’s features to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.Teachers will watch exemplar videos to envision how to masterfully execute before, during, and after reading learning with intro decks, reading modalities (whole class, partner), question modalities (turn & talk, think & share), and assessing and reflecting on data.
